Remote Options: Video & Phone. Professional counseling—accessible, affordable, convenient so that anyone who struggles with life’s challenges can get support.
While we would prefer to welcome you to our offices to see you in person, your health and safety at this time is our top priority.
All of our therapists have moved to practice online counseling for the foreseeable future, and it has been incredibly meaningful to still be able to provide treatment and support to clients in this way. From our experience, everyone handles the circumstances differently, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. We have witnessed all six stages of grief so far—denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. You can still get the support you need with telehealth counseling. Even if you’re not ‘tech-savvy’ we can guide you to get connected to support you remotely and see you “face to face” during this crisis.
Please note that we are In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice PPO Insurance.
Whether you are new or a current client, we can assist you. Please call our office (847) 272-3684, and we will help you to get started with instructions for your video or call session. Before your appointment, you will receive a reminder via email.
To get the most out of your session, we recommend getting your space ready, so you’re safe, confidential, and comfortable.
Tips on creating a safe & comfortable place at home:
- Find a spot where others can’t hear you. That can be tough during this quarantine, so other options include:
- Sit in your car
- Go for a walk outside
- Set up a white noise machine by the door
- Ask others at home to give you respect your space and provide you with privacy during your session
